I was friends with Jimmy in NB and in BSA Troop 936. We both went through a gas model-airplane phase and got together to fly our control-line P-51s. We had fun times on many overnight- and summer-camping adventures, and also witnessed some spectacular model-plane crashes. I'm sorry to learn he's no longer with us, but am grateful for the times we shared, and for his zany sense of humor and overall joie de vivre.
